The meetings detailed a strong fiscal year, with positive bottom lines for the organization and its entities. The Board also celebrated program wins, from 1 million AngusVerified^SM AngusLink^® enrollments and a huge uptick in Data Driven Herd recognitions to numerous Ag Media Summit awards. 

The adoption of GeneMax genomic testing is also up for the fiscal year.   

“That’s just a testament to how progressive our commercial customers have become,” Brinkley, of Milan, Mo., said. “They’re using that information to select sires that’ll help benefit them.” 

They also covered ongoing fertility research projects, an Angus Journal^® subscriber campaign to new members, and ways Certified Angus Beef is combating supply reductions. They shared their very recent experience at the CAB annual conference.  

“It’s one of the premier events we get to go to as Board members, and it’s a lot of fun again to see an industry out there that we have very little to do with in many ways, but they're our biggest cheerleaders at the end of the day,” says Adams, Union Springs, Ala.
