The steps are simple. Validate your breed makeup using Angus Verified & the Genetic Merit Scorecard®. This USDA Process-Verified Program (PVP) documents and verifies, at minimum, that your enrolled calves are 50% Angus.

Step 2: Submit sire records for AngusLink programs.
Step 3: Receive AngusVerified marketing certificate and Genetic Merit Scorecard for your enrolled calf crop.
What is the Genetic Merit Scorecard?
The Genetic Merit Scorecard® (GMS) draws on the industry’s largest database to evaluate calf genetics. It projects your calves performance merit from weaning to the packing plant, using the breeding history of your herd.
Differentiate your calves on sale day by using the Genetic Merit Scorecard to effectively communicate the genetic merit of your calves to potential buyers. Scores indicate how cattle will perform in the feedlot and on the rail, and buyers are willing to pay a premium for your investment.
