The Angus Foundation invites Angus breeders, industry supporters and cattle enthusiasts to Angus Foundation Reception at Churchill Downs on Friday, Nov. 13, in Louisville, Ky., hosted during the  2026 Angus Convention. 

Attendees are invited to gather at 6 p.m. in Matt Winns at one of horse racing's most iconic venues for an evening celebrating the Angus breed's legacy while investing in its future. 

Angus Foundation Reception at Churchill Downs 

The reception provides a unique opportunity to connect with members of the Angus family while supporting initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for Angus youth, strengthen industry leadership and advance beef cattle research. Contributions to the Angus Foundation help ensure programs such as the Beef Leaders Institute, Leaders Engaged in Angus Development (LEAD) Conference, youth scholarships and research projects continue to make a lasting impact across the industry.

Those unable to attend in person are invited to participate in the auction through CCI.live. The auction will be broadcast live beginning at 6 p.m. CST, allowing Angus enthusiasts across the country to bid on select items and support the Angus Foundation from anywhere. 

Set against the backdrop of historic Churchill Downs, the evening will celebrate the people, programs and partnerships that are shaping the future of Angus cattle. 

Everyone is invited to be part of this memorable event and help make a lasting impact. This is a ticketed event and space is limited. Tickets may be purchased during Angus Convention registration and are expected to sell out quickly. Shuttle transportation will be available to and from Churchill Downs for attendees.
