2025 Top Angus Sires

Connealy Craftsman ranks No. 1 in Angus breed for registrations this fiscal year.

Angus cattle remain prevalent in America’s beef industry with more than 80% of the cow herd influenced by Angus genetics.  

The American Angus Association closed out its fiscal year Sept. 30 and reported the most influential sires by registration, with Connealy Craftsman topping the list for the second year in a row with 6,148 registered progeny sired from Oct. 1, 2024-Sept. 30, 2025.  

 
The top 10 sires for FY 2025 by registration are as follows:

2. Connealy Commerce
