It's hard to believe we are approaching the halfway mark of the year. 

It has been a period of learning and excitement in my role. Although everyone in the position of president of the American Angus Auxiliary has had different methods of leadership, I believe each of us is unshakable in our passion for the Auxiliary and the Angus breed.  

By definition, if someone’s trust or faith is unshakable, it is firm and cannot be made weaker or destroyed. This describes so many families in “our world” — the Angus world. We spend the totality of our lives working hard, looking for innovative ways to improve our way of life and praying we can pass this tradition on to our children and generations to follow.

As summer approaches, our officer team is busy preparing for the National Junior Angus Show. We are reviewing scholarships and preparing for the various contests. I hope you’ll participate in the meetings and cheer on the juniors, whether in the ring or in other events.
