When I think of AMP, I’m reminded of juniors eagerly running through the barn, excited to track down their friends for the week. It's the go-to spot to reconnect with their fun-loving buddies and make new memories. There's truly no better place to kick off the week than at AMP, where juniors dive into exciting games and activities. It’s a blend of reuniting with old friends and making new ones, that make AMP special.   

Now, as a National Angus Junior Board member and an older junior, I remember looking up to the older kids who would stop by and introduce me to breeders, both young and old, who shared a passion for Angus cattle. These connections have helped shape my journey, and now, as a mentor myself, it has been an incredible experience meeting new mentees every year. The connections and memories I have made through AMP are unforgettable.   

AMP is designed for younger juniors, pairing them with older juniors as mentors. These mentors help younger participants navigate the week while encouraging friendships through icebreaker activities and fun games. AMP is all about building bonds, creating lasting friendships and of course, having a blast.
