Meng represented Kentucky in the very first National Junior Angus Showmanship Competition, and was the first president of the Kentucky Junior Angus Association

A graduate of Western Kentucky University, Meng has judged the National Angus Show and the National Junior Angus Show. He was manager of The All-American Angus Breeders’ Futurity, and vice president of Creekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC.

He served two terms on the Board of Directors for the American Angus Association, and is a charter member of the National Cattlemen’s Association and the Kentucky Beef Cattle Association.
