Morris Pipkin
Inducted 2005
Morris Pipkin, formerly of Republic, Mo, and his father, W.H. Pipkin, purchased their first Angus cattle in October 1933. The herd was established throughout the years, and today Clearwater Farm continues to be a credible source for Angus seedstock throughout the Midwest. Morris was a charter member of the Missouri Angus Association and served as president of the organization in 1948-49. Over the years, Morris continually looked for herd sires to improve the genetics in his herd and adopted artificial insemination when the technology became available. He also enrolled in the AHIR program at its onset.
