Bill Borror

Bill Borror operates Tehama Angus Ranch with his wife Sandy and their family near Gerber, Calif. A life-long Angus breeder, he is a pioneer in performance record keeping, and he enrolled his first cow in the University of California Record of Performance program in 1944. He also owned one of the first reference sires used by the American Angus Association in the Sire Evaluation Program. He has served in various leadership positions, including president of the American Angus Association in 1999. He also past president of the California Beef Cattle Improvement Association and has been a director of the Beef Improvement Federation.
