Horton of Madison, Alabama, owns one of the oldest Angus herds in the Southeast, and has devoted his life to the improvement of the Angus business. A charter member of the Alabama BCIA, he enrolled early in the American Angus Association’s AHIR program. He was president of the American Angus Association in 1979and a member of the original CAB Program committee.
