Louis “Mick” Colvin, a Bedford County, Pennsylvania, native, was the first executive officer of the American Angus Association’s Certified Angus Beef Program. As executive director, he started as a one-man operation and developed the Program into the largest branded beef program in the world with a nationwide staff and headquarters in Wooster, Ohio.
