As innovative leader in the breeding of performance Angus seedstock, Sitz was one of the first cattlemen to utilize performance testing and AHIR and promote the concept of the Angus Sire Evaluation. He was named both the Beef Improvement Federation’s and Montana’s Seedstock Producer of the Year and served six years on the American Angus Association board of directors. Sitz was owner of QAS Traveler 23-4 and hosted one of the largest, most successful Angus sales in the country.
