The third of a five generation family of Angus breeders and promoters, Miller started in the Angus business in 1940. Viewlawn Farms, Mabel, Minnesota, was founded by his grandfather in 1903 and became a major seedstock source under Bob Miller’s direction. Miller was founding member of the Minnesota Beef Improvement Association. He served two terms on the American Angus Association board of directors, was active in Minnesota Angus Association.
