A world-renown judge, judging team coach and Association executive secretary, Bratcher’s judging every major show in the United States, including the International Livestock Exposition and four All-American Futurities. He was head of the animal husbandry department of Oklahoma State University. Registrations were 176,950 when he became secretary in 1963, and were 406,310 when he died in 1968.
