Managing partner of Black Bull Cattle Co., Benton, Mississippi, and dedicated to performance tested Angus seedstock for the commercial cattle industry. He served two terms on the American Angus Association board of directors and was president in 1979. Helped shape and guide the Angus Herd Improvement Records Program and Angus Sire Evaluation Program.
