An Angus promoter and leader, Dievert helped develop central Kentucky into one of the greatest concentrations of Angus cattle in the world. Fitted the 1947 International Grand Champion bull, bred many well-known champions, while at Reverie Knoll Farm and at his own Bluegrass Angus Farm at Danville, Kentucky. Also a successful Angus sale manager.
