Jack and Joe Keefauver were instrumental in the growth of the Angus breed in the Southeast. Keefauver Brothers herd at Jonesboro, Tennessee, was founded in 1945. Both were leaders in their state. Joe served two terms as an American Angus Association director and was president in 1960.
