Ed Stout, Booneville, Missouri, was a prominent state association executive, responsible for making the junior Angus association concept a reality. As head of the Missouri Angus Association, he helped organize the nation’s first state junior Angus association, the Missouri Junior Angus Association. Because of his dedication, nearly every state in the country today has its own Junior Angus Association.
