Influential as a teacher, cattle judge and Angus breeder. He helped develop the famous Bardoliermere 2nd line at Ohio State. At Penn State, coached 19 judging teams; won 8 major contests. Retired in 1972 and founded Huntingdon Farm. Judging over 1,200 shows in 44 states and 9 countries; died in 1985 while attending an Angus field day.
