Was hired in 1946 to develop a public relations program for the American Angus Association. He originated many of the advertising and promotion plans that helped make Angus the nation’s major beef breed. He was director of P.R. until 1968 when he was named Association Executive Secretary, a position he held until retirement in 1978.
