A breeder of Angus cattle near Bettendorf, Iowa, for more than 40 years. Served as president of the American Angus Association in 1970. He was a lifelong advocate of the production and promotions of high quality beef and served as a board member of the National Livestock and Meat Board and the National Cattleman’s Association.
