Son of B.R. Pierce, Stanley exhibited the first grand champion (Advance) and reserve grand champion (Good Times) Angus steers at the International Livestock Exposition in Chicago. A strong supporter of Angus cattle and the International Livestock Exposition. He served as president of the Association in 1912.
