A great Angus breeder of the 19th and early 20th century. His Premier Herd had a tremendous influence on the Angus Breed. He exhibited at shows and won over 2,000 major awards. His greatest achievement was breeding the famous Earl Marshall, a premier sire. He was Association president in 1891-92-93.
