Hamilton “Ham” James

Inducted 1983

Became an Angus auctioneer after World War II and was influential in the tremendous expansion of the Angus breed. A respected, enthusiastic and talented merchandiser of Angus cattle, he sold Angus sales in 40 states and four Canadian provinces for 38 years. He was an Angus breeder and active member of the Illinois Angus Association.
