Founder of the Aberdeen-Angus Journal in 1919 in Webster City, Iowa. The Journal was a major factor in the victory of the democratic election process for the American Angus Association, as Hahne vigorously defended this position in the Journal. In 1979, the Association purchased the journal from Hahne’s son and grandsons.
