Charles Gudgell

Inducted 1983

Helped organize and served as first secretary-treasurer of the American Angus Association. Association offices were maintained at Gudgell’s home in Independence, Missouri. Gudgell and his partner, T.A. Simpson, were major exhibitors of steers and made history with their steer Sandy, first U.S. bred Angus grand champion steer.
