George Grant

Inducted 1983

Imported first Angus cattle to the United States. Shipped four bulls from England to Victoria, Kansas, in 1873. Grant bred them to Texas Longhorn cows, which made a mark in the livestock industry. He exhibited the first Angus breeding cattle in the U.S. in 1873, at the Kansas City Livestock Exposition.
