A veteran Illinois Angus cattle feeder. He won grand championships with his carloads of Angus steers at the International Livestock Exposition in Chicago. He regularly topped the market at the Chicago Stack Yards with his prime Angus and helped establish the Angus breed as the premier producer of quality beef.
