Founded Ankony Farm, Rhinebeck, New York. One of the outstanding herds in the 1950s and 1960s, it produced many grand championships at the International Livestock Exposition in Chicago and the National Western Stock Show in Denver. Ryan was a strong Angus leader and served as president for the Association in 1965.
