Angus exhibitors competed for top honors at the 2026 Iowa State Fair Angus Show, August 18 in Des Moines, Iowa. Cory Thomsen, Madison, S.D., evaluated the 148 entries, which included 114 females, 31 bulls and three cow-calf pairs.

PFA Bismarck 0225 claimed grand champion bull honors. Lauren Phillips, Centerville, Iowa, owns the April 2025 son of S A V Bismarck 5682. He first claimed junior champion. 

Moffitt Rematch 5017 was named reserve grand champion bull. Reed Munson, Walker, Iowa, owns the March 2025 son of ROSE Replay 3321 that earlier won reserve junior champion.

Boy Proven Queen 5200 captured grand champion female and senior calf champion for Sloan Boyert, Pleasantville, Iowa. She is a September 2025 daughter of Conley A 1. 

Jacob Greiman, Goodell, Iowa, claimed reserve grand champion female. SULL Ellie 5653n is a February 2025 daughter of UDE New Heights 62/87 and first won junior champion.

Paisley Betts, Osage, Iowa, owns the grand champion cow-calf pair. Kruse Annie Lu 04M is a March 2024 daughter of STAG Good Times 201 ET. A January 2026 bull calf sired by Colburn Primo 5153 completes the winning pair.

Lauren Phillips, Centerville, Iowa, owns the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. SPL Saras Dream 2108 is a February 2021 daughter of Plum Creek Paradox 161B. An April 2026 bull calf sired by PVF The Natural 7042 is at side.
