Champions selected at 2026 Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show

Junior Angus exhibitors led 155 entries at the 2026 Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show, June 19-21 in Hamburg, N.Y.

Junior Angus exhibitors led 155 entries at the 2026 Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show, June 19-21 in Hamburg, N.Y. Shane Meier, Stonewall, Texas, evaluated the 73 owned females, 32 bred-and-owned females, seven bred-and-owned bulls, 11 steers, and four cow-calf pairs. Charlie Boyd, May’s Lick, Ky., evaluated the 28 phenotype and genotype females.

Madison Stratton, Appomattox, Va., led the grand champion bred-and-owned bull. EGF Denali 1155 is a January 2025 son of Tehama Tahoe B767. He first won junior champion.

3C Davis 531 claimed reserve grand champion bred-and-owned bull honors after first claiming reserve junior champion. Kenzie Clark, Bruceton Mills, W.Va., owns the January 2025 son of Riverstone Vegas 49H.

SCC Heart N Soul 528 was named grand champion owned female. Ella Brooks, Prophetstown, Ill., owns the February 2025 daughter of BNWZ Executive Decision 2219. She first won junior champion – division 2.

PVF Missie 5204 earned reserve grand champion owned female honors after first winning reserve junior champion – division 2. Claire Murnin, Pompeys Pillar, Mont., owns the January 2025 daughter of STAG Good Times 201 ET.

Ashton Dillow, Villa Ridge, Ill., led the grand champion bred-and-owned female. PVF SFA Missie 5096 is a May 2025 daughter of PVF Capone 2104. She first won intermediate champion.

EGF Proven Queen 5225 was named reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female after first winning reserve intermediate champion. Madison Stratton owns the May 2025 daughter of PVF Blacklist 7077.

Madison Stratton also exhibited the grand champion cow-calf pair. K & J CCW Lady 9172 is the September 2022 daughter of K C F Bennett Const G519. Her calf is an October 2025 bull sired by EGF Outlaw 1010.

Ava Wood, Willow Spring, N.C., showed the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Dameron Lucy 3151 is a September 2023 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838. Her calf is an October 2025 heifer sired by PVF Marvel 9185.

Adeline Tommell, Fonda, N.Y., led the grand champion steer. AIT PVF Black Chip 5101 is a May 2025 son of EXAR Blue Chip 1877B.

Ella Michael, Fishersville, Va., owns the reserve grand champion steer. Snyders Melvin is a March 2025 son of PVF Marvel 9185.

Liliana Trowbridge, Ghent, N.Y., showed the grand champion female in phenotype and genotype portion of the show. Trowbridge Erica 528 is the February 2025 daughter of Long Teton 107 and first won division 4 champion.

Bryce Hofing, Coatesville, Ind., led the reserve grand champion female in the phenotype and genotype portion of the show. Cardon Craftsman 227 of 1056 is the May 2025 daughter of Connealy Craftsman. She first claimed division 2 champion.
