Juniors Exhibit Champions at 2026 Western Regional Junior Angus Show

Junior Angus members traveled to Reno, Nev., to compete in the 2026 Western Regional Junior Angus Show.

Junior Angus members traveled to Reno, Nev., to compete in the 2026 Western Regional Junior Angus Show, March 28. Luke Lemenager, Hudson, Ill., evaluated the 96 owned females, 25 bred-and-owned females, nine bred-and-owned bulls, 15 steers and 14 phenotype and genotype females before selecting champions.

Hadley Harrison, Montague, Calif., showed the grand champion owned female that first claimed junior champion. TR Envious Blackbird M4155 is a March 2024 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838.

PVF Proven Queen 5053 captured reserve grand champion owned female. Cambria Cook, Clovis, Calif., showed the March 2025 daughter of BLC/MLA Omega 2258 that first won junior calf champion – division 1.

Atley Kleinman, Wentworth, Mo., led the third place overall owned female. Bar S Saras Dream 5814 is the March 2025 daughter of RW Timeless 304 and first won reserve junior calf champion – division 1.

The fourth place overall owned female was PVF Blackbird 5012. Ashton Dillow, Villa Ridge, Ill. owns the February 2025 daughter sired by PVF Marvel 9185. She first claimed junior calf champion – division 2.

Caroline Sankey, Economy, Ind., showed the fifth place overall owned female. Sankeys Saras Dream 5000 is the January 2025 daughter sire of STAG Good Times 201 ET. She first won reserve junior calf champion – division 2.

Hannah Harrison, Montague, Calif., led the grand champion bred-and-owned female, HL Forever Lady 2403. The June 2024 daughter of STAG Good Times 201 ET first won intermediate champion.

Gohr Saras Dream 4044 won reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female for Fallon Gohr, Madras, Ore. She is the April 2024 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153 and first won junior champion.

Cutter Scasta, Madill, Okla., led the third place overall bred-and-owned female. Scasta Lazy JB Zena 5028 is the March 2025 daughter of Silveiras Forbes 8088. She first won junior calf champion.

The fourth place overall bred-and-and owned female was 4M Princess 2552. Kasey Meyer, Blue Hill, Neb. owns the April 2025 daughter of BNWZ Dignity 8017. She first won reserve junior calf champion.

Peyton Wood, Montague, Calif., showed the fifth place overall bred-and-owned female. WCC Winnie 2450 is the November 2024 daughter of PVF Marvel 9185 and first claimed senior calf champion.

Gohr G Bar S Style 5018 received grand champion bred-and-owned bull for Fallon Gohr, Madras, Ore. He is the January 2025 son of Silveiras Style 9303 and first won junior calf champion.

Lane Toledo, Visalia, Calif., showed the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned bull. Toledo Cadillac Ranch 5114 is a February 2025 son of Toledo Cadillac Ranch 2143 and first claimed reserve junior calf champion. 

4M Dignity 580 received grand champion steer honors for Jett Clark, Lecompton, Kan. He is the February 2025 son of BNWZ Dignity 8017.

Drew McCurry, Hutchinson, Kan., showed the reserve grand champion steer. Bar S Timeless 5822 is a May 2025 son of RW Timeless 304.

Mckinley Stoller, Palisade, Neb., showed the grand champion female in the phenotype and genotype portion of the show. Bear Mtn Eisa Erica 4543 is the January 2024 daughter of Bear Mtn Justice.

Adysen Davis, Elk Grove, Calif., led the reserve grand champion female in the phenotype and genotype portion of the show. Vintage Lucy 5271 is the February 2025 daughter of 44 Faithful 2764.
