Junior Angus exhibitors led 125 entries at the 2026 Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show’s Junior Angus Heifer Show, Jan. 25 in Fort Worth, Texas. Marty Ropp, Normal, Ill., evaluated the females before naming champions.
Brooklyn Barnes, Desdemona, Texas, led the grand champion female. EXAR Frontier Gal 4927 is a September 2024 daughter of BNWZ Dignity 8017 and first won senior calf champion.
JBC Princess 4040 was named reserve grand champion female after first winning junior champion. Lily Cameron, Mount Pleasant, Texas, owns the April 2024 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153.
