Angus exhibitors competed for top honors at the 2025 Iowa State Fair Angus Show, August 12 in Des Moines, Iowa. Britney Creamer, Montrose, Colo., evaluated the 155 entries, which included 119 females, 30 bulls and six cow-calf pairs.

Burns GAF Chicken Nugget claimed grand champion bull honors. Kennedy Burns, Oxford, Iowa, owns the March 2024 son of Conley No Limit. He first claimed junior champion. 

Jensen Ranch Hand 421 of FAF was named reserve grand champion bull. Cale Jensen, Plainfield, Iowa, owns the January 2024 son of KR Cadillac Ranch that earlier won reserve junior champion.

Hunters Lucy 4470 captured grand champion female and junior champion for KayLee Langford, Breckenridge, Texas. She is a September 2024 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838. 

Jillian Moffitt, Colfax, Iowa, claimed reserve grand champion female. JCC Lola 338 is a November 2023 daughter of BRDG Mahogany Prime 904B and first won senior champion.

Lauren Phillips, Centerville, Iowa, owns the grand champion cow-calf pair. CCF Erica 307 is a March 2023 daughter of PVF Marvel 9185. An April 2025 bull calf sired by S A V Bismarck 5682 completes the winning pair.

Chase Vorhies, New Market, Iowa, owns the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. HNRX Christy 3112 is a May 2023 daughter of BRDG Mahogany Prime 904B. A March 2025 bull calf sired by S&R Silveiras Santa Monica is at side.
