Iowa junior Angus members led 128 entries at the 2025 Iowa Junior Angus Preview Show, June 6 in Tipton, Iowa. Bob May, Mineral Point, Wis., evaluated the 33 bred-and-owned females, 50 owned females, 11 bred-and-owned bulls, four cow-calf pairs, 20 registered steers and 10 phenotype and genotype females and bulls before selecting champions.

Steenhard Greiman Barbara406 was named supreme champion and grand champion owned female after first winning the junior champion – division 2. The January 2024 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153 is owned by Jacob Greiman, Goodell, Iowa.

JCC Lola 338 claimed the reserve supreme champion and reserve grand champion owned female titles. Jillian Moffitt, Colfax, Iowa, owns the November 2023 daughter of BRDG Mahogany Prime 904B that first won senior champion.

Grand champion bred-and-owned female honors went to Plum Creek Annie Lu 2147. Lauren Anderson, Algona, Iowa, owns the February 2024 female sired by BNWZ Dignity 8017. She first won junior champion.

Jensen Erica 492 of FAF was selected as reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female after first winning intermediate champion. The May 2024 daughter of STAG Good Times 201 ET is owned by Callie Jensen, Plainfield, Iowa.

Cale Jensen, Plainfield, Iowa, led Jensen Ranch Hand 421 of FAF to grand champion bred-and-owned bull honors. The January 2024 son of KR Cadillac Ranch first won junior champion.

Burns GAF Chicken Nugget claimed the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned bull title. Kennedy Burns, Oxford, Iowa, owns the March 2024 bull sired by Conley No Limit. He first won reserve junior champion.

Eliza Patchin, Mitchellville, Iowa, led the grand champion cow-calf pair. BDR Proven Queen 1224 is the March 2023 daughter of STAG Good Times 201 ET. A January 2025 bull calf sired by E&B Wildcat 370 completes the winning pair.

CCF Erica 307 won reserve champion cow-calf pair for Lauren Phillips, Centerville, Iowa. She is the March 2023 daughter of PVF Marvel 9185. An April 2025 bull calf sired by S A V Bismarck 5682 is at side.

Swanton Phyllis 2403 won grand champion steer and is owned by Alec Gotto, Dyersville, Iowa. He is the January 2024 son of STAG Good Time 201 ET.

Callie Jensen led TalonCrest Fugitive 411 to reserve grand champion steer. He is a March 2024 son of PVF Fugitive 2303.

Jensen Pedro 448 won grand champion bred-and-owned steer and is owned by Callie Jensen. He is the February 2024 son of STAG Good Times 201 ET.

Kylie Claussen, Walcott, Iowa, led the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned steer. KC Mack 415 is the March 2024 son of C-4 GCC Play it Safe H420. 

Eliza Patchin showed the grand champion female in the phenotype and genotype portion of the show. JM Lady Bonnie 0150-K403 is the February 2024 daughter of Tehama Tahoe B767.

Kegan Bacon, Manson, Iowa, led the reserve grand champion female in the phenotype and genotype portion of the show. Double B Beth 2305 is the December 2023 daughter of Deer Valley Yellowstone 0106.

Cheyenne Houk, Blakesburg, Iowa, showed the grand champion bull in the phenotype and genotype portion of the show. Houks Southern Comfort 2401 is the June 2024 son of Herbster SourthernBreeze 1245.

Cord Houk, Blakesburg, Iowa, led the reserve grand champion bull in the phenotype and genotype portion of the show. Houks Exceptional 2325 is the November 2023 son of Mead Primo U385.
