Young Angus exhibitors from across the country exhibited 139 entries at the 2025 Atlantic National Regional Preview Junior Angus Show, May 25 in Timonium, Md. Scott Bush, Britton, S.D., evaluated the 81 owned females, 35 bred-and-owned females, five bred-and-owned bulls and 18 steers before selecting champions.
Madison Stratton, Appomattox, Va., claimed grand champion bred-and-owned bull honors with EGF Divo 4104. He’s an April 2024 son of PVF Blacklist 7077 and first claimed junior calf champion.
Weston Haag, Plymouth, Ind., owns the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned bull, HAAG CA Direct Deposit 2440. He is a February 2024 son of Car Don Annuity 114 and first won reserve junior calf champion.
Alli Perry, Fayetteville, Tenn., led the grand champion owned female, BNWZ Sara’s Dream 4212. The March 2024 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 first won junior calf champion – division 1.
PVF Proven Queen 4087 won reserve grand champion owned female honors. Ashton Dillow, Villa Ridge, Ill., owns the April 2024 daughter of BLC/MLA Omega 2258 that first won reserve junior calf champion – division 1.
SCC Phyllis 450 claimed third place overall owned champion female for Hayden Hahn, Rocky Ridge, Md. The May 2024 daughter of PVF Blacklist 7077 first claimed summer calf champion.
Kayden Nowatzke, Michigan City, Ind., led the fourth place overall owned champion female, Seldom Rest Pin Up Gal 4170. The July 2024 daughter of BNWZ Dignity 8017 first won reserve summer calf champion.
RW Saras Dream 308 claimed fifth place overall owned champion female for Kelsey Theis, Leavenworth, Kan. The April 2023 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303 first won junior champion.
Tucker Bayer, Ringle, Wis., led the grand champion bred-and-owned female, CLF Pin Up Gal 40M. The February 2024 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 first won junior calf champion.
Eavers Proven Queen 216 won reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female honors. Carrter Eavers, Middlebrook, Va., owns the February 2024 daughter of ROSE MC Encore 0463 that first won reserve junior calf champion.
SSF Blackcap N123 claimed third place overall bred-and-owned champion female for Piper Cates, Modoc, Ind. The November 2023 daughter of SSF On Point 4028 first claimed senior calf champion.
William Miller, Gridley, Ill., led the fourth place overall bred-and-owned champion female, PVF Blackbird 4134. The September 2024 daughter of PVF Marvel 9185 first won fall calf champion.
SCC CB Phyllis 3108 claimed fifth place overall bred-and-owned champion female for Suter Clark, Gretna, Va. The October 2023 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 first claimed reserve senior calf champion.
Mr Klink won grand champion steer. Suter Clark owns the February 2024 son of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838.
Layla Grimm, Staunton, Va., owns the reserve grand champion steer. Wcen Ea Marty’s Party is an April 2024 son of Young Dale Honour 16H.
