Winners Chosen at 2024 Iowa Angus Preview Show
Iowa Angus enthusiasts led 111 entries at
VZR Big X Express 2346 was named grand champion bull. Ryan & Bridgette Van Zee, Sioux Center, Iowa, own the April 2023 son of Conley American Express 0159. He first won junior champion.
Boyd Schroeder, Clarence, Iowa, owns the reserve grand champion bull that first claimed senior champion. SA Rich Spirit 219 is a May 2022 son of Schroeder Legacy 3400.
Greimans VANZ Sandy 53 was named grand champion female. Jacob Greiman, Goodell, Iowa, owns the January 2023 daughter of Gateway Follow Me F163. She first won early junior champion.
Moffitt Rosebud 3016 claimed reserve grand champion female honors after first winning reserve early junior champion. Brock Studer, Creston, Iowa, owns the February 2023 daughter of CCF Blacklist 043.
Cale Jensen, Plainfield, Iowa, owns the grand champion cow-calf pair. Jensen Georgina 188 of FAF is a September 2021 daughter of PVF Blacklist 7077. A November 2023 heifer calf sired by STAG Good Times 201 ET completes the winning pair.
Jacob White, Postville, Iowa, owns the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. 4WA Lady 85 is a February 2018 daughter of EXAR Classen 1422B. A March 2024 bull calf sired by Colburn Primo 5153 at side.
JE Maverick 12L was named grand champion steer. Sam Greiman, Perry, Iowa, owns the March 2023 son of WBSF True Blood 2021.
Jacob Pilcher, Norwalk, Iowa, owns the reserve grand champion steer. Cory Follow Me 4L is a March 2023 son of Moffitt Follow Me M206.
