Juniors Parade Champions at 2024 Atlantic National Regional Preview Show
Young Angus exhibitors from across the country exhibited 132 entries at the 2024 Atlantic National Regional Preview Junior Angus Show, May 25 in Timonium, Md. Travis Pembrook, Fairview, Okla., evaluated the 75 owned females, 33 bred-and-owned females, five bred-and-owned bulls, one cow-calf pair and 18 steers before selecting champions.
Tucker Bayer, Ringle, Wis., claimed grand champion bred-and-owned bull honors with CLF Northstar 80L. He’s an April 2023 son of S A V Stardom 8131. He first claimed junior calf champion.
Sophia Royer, New Richmond, Ind., owns the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned bull, RGCC Making Headlines 452. He’s an April 2022 son of RGCC Alibi 318. He first won junior champion.
Ashton Dillow, Villa Ridge, Ill., led the grand champion owned female, PVF Proven Queen 3025. The February 2023 daughter of PVF Marvel 9185 first won early junior calf champion.
BNWZ Saras Dream 3658 won reserve grand champion owned female honors. Rob Oakley, Livingston, Tenn., owns the April 2023 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 that first won late junior calf champion.
WB Princess 329 claimed third place overall owned champion female for Grant Kuhn, Manchester, Tenn. The October 2023 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 first claimed fall calf champion.
Allison Davis, Shelbyville, Tenn., led the fourth place overall owned champion female, SSF DS Lady 3023. AMarch 2023 daughter of SSF On Point 4028 first won reserve late junior calf champion.
SCC TBD Sheza Missie 352 claimed fifth place overall owned champion female for Montana Hulsmeyer, Harrod, Ohio. The May 2023 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 first claimed summer calf champion.
Ethan Miller, Gaston, Ind., led the grand champion bred-and-owned female, Pipe Creek Maid 623. February 2023 daughter of C&C Priority 1428B EXAR first won junior calf champion.
PVF Blackbird 3152 won reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female honors. Adam Miller, Gridley, Ill., owns the September 2023 daughter of STAG Good Times 201 ET that first won fall calf champion.
Oakley Pin Up Gal 2235 claimed third place overall bred-and-owned champion female for Rob Oakley. The April 2022 daughter of SCC Tradition of 24 first claimed junior champion.
Kayden Nowatzke, Michigan City, Ind., led the fourth place overall bred-and-owned champion female, BNWZ Saras Dream 3143. The March 2023 daughter of PVF Insight 0129 first won reserve junior calf champion.
SSF Blackcap N123 claimed fifth place overall bred-and-owned champion female for Piper Cates, Modoc, Ind. The November 2023 daughter of SSF On Point 4028 first claimed reserve fall calf champion.
Allison Davis led the grand champion cow-calf pair. AED Rita 037H is a December 2020 daughter of PVF Blacklist 7077. A September 2023 heifer calf sired by OHL Gunner 7263G completes the winning pair.
SC ZMC Marv won grand champion steer. Ella Michael, Fishersville, Va., owns the February 2023 son of PVF Marvel 9185.
Charlotte Holland, Laytonsville, Md., owns the reserve grand champion steer. Stone Wall Blackbird 605L is an April 2023 son of PVF Marvel 9185.
Clarkboys Copper Penny won grand champion bred-and-owned steer. Suter Clark, Gretna, Va., owns the January 2023 son of Silverias Forbes 8088.
Troy Heath, Woodbine, Md., owns the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned steer champion. Heaths Blaze 1023 is an April 2023 son of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838.
