The American Angus Auxiliary invites women to apply for the 2026 Angus Women Connected Conference happening April 8-10, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, at the Elms Hotel and Spa. The event is designed to Engage, Empower and Educate women from diverse backgrounds that share the common bond of Angus cattle. The Auxiliary will select 20 women to take part in the bi-annual event.

During the last conference in 2024, Bree Hawkins-Theis was just beginning her journey in The Business Breed. “After the conference I realized I had not only connected with an amazing group of women who welcomed me without question, but that I also understood more about Certified Angus Beef, the brand and the breed as a whole.”

Women considering apply for the 2026 event can read more about Hawkins-Theis’ and her classmates experience in this Angus Journal article.

The conference registration, lodging and meals are provided at no cost, thanks to the generous support of the Angus Foundation. Participants are responsible for the cost of travel to and from Missouri. However, group ground transportation from the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) will be arranged.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. The deadline to apply is Feb. 16, and accepted applicants will be notified no later than March 1.

The online application is available at: Women Connected Application
