Beef Leaders Institute
Established in 2008, the Beef Leaders Institute (BLI) is designed for Association members 25-45 years old to provide insight into the beef industry, while enhancing their knowledge of the Association and strengthening leadership skills. BLI is supported by the Angus Foundation and Certified Angus Beef.
The 2026 BLI event will be held June 15-19, with the program beginning the morning of June 15.
BLI is limited to 20 attendees each year. Applications are due by February 15.
The Association will provide transportation during the BLI, as well as lodging, meals, and materials. The attendees will be responsible for their round-trip transportation between their home to Kansas City (if flying) or Saint Joseph (if driving) and their departure to home from Cleveland, Ohio (if flying) or Kansas City to get vehicle at the American Angus Association. Transportation from the Kansas City airport on both Sunday, June 14th and Friday, June 19th will be provided.
