Champions named at 2022 Cattlemen’s Congress Super Point ROV Angus Show
Angus enthusiasts led 266 entries at the 2022 Cattlemen’s Congress Super Point Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show, Jan. 5-8 in Oklahoma City, Okla. Jarold Callahan, Edmond, Okla., and Donnie Robertson, Yukon, Okla., evaluated the 229 females, 36 bulls and one cow-calf pair.
Seldom Rest Regulate 0105 claimed the supreme champion overall and the grand champion bull title after first earning the intermediate champion title. Seldom Rest Farms, Niles, Mich., own the July 2020 son of Conley Express 7211.
Silveira Bros., Firebaugh, Calif., and Tri T Farms, Visalia, Calif., own the reserve grand champion bull. Silveiras Convoy 0340 is a March 2020 son of SAC Conversation and was first named junior champion.
Rob Oakley, Livingston, Tenn., owns the supreme champion overall and grand champion female. Seldom Rest Pin Up Gal 0103 is a June 2020 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153 and first won intermediate champion.
Rance Wheeler, Paris, Mo., claimed reserve grand champion female. UDE Queen Ruth 0204 is a March 2020 daughter of KR Casino 6243 and first won junior champion – division 1.
CDN Schrick Sasha 921won grand champion cow-calf pair. Corbin Ellerman, Atchison, Kan., owns the August 2019 daughter of May-Way Brilliance 736. A July 2021 bull calf sired by Schrick Shamar 934 completes the winning pair.
