Champions Named at 2022 North American International Livestock Exposition
Angus enthusiasts led 181 entries while competing for top honors at the 2022 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Super Point Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show and National Angus Show, Nov. 14 in Louisville, Ky. John Rayfield, Wolfforth, Texas, evaluated the 154 females, 24 bulls and three cow-calf pairs before selecting the winning animals.
HAG Black Crow 106 claimed grand champion bull honors after first winning junior champion. Sunrise Sunset Farm, Williamsburg, Ind.; The Haggards, Modoc, Ind.; and Winegardner Show Cattle, Harrod, Ohio, own the April 2021 son of SSF On Point 4028.
Ferree Fitz Black Label 2229 won reserve grand champion bull for Houston Ferree, Sullivan, Ind. The February 2022 son of PVF Blacklist 7077 first won junior calf champion.
Lakeview Lady C 2119 captured grand champion female honors for Cheyenne Brunker, Ottawa, Kan. The April 2021 daughter of KR Casino 6243 first won junior champion – division 1.
Houston Ferree, Sullivan, Ind., owns the reserve grand champion female. Seldom Rest Pin Up Gal 1221 is the October 2021 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153 and first claimed early senior calf champion – division 2.
Snyders CCW Proven Queen 214 won grand champion cow-calf pair. Madison Stratton, Appomattox, Va., owns the February 2019 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153. A March 2022 heifer calf sired by PVF Blacklist 7077 completes the winning pair.
TLF Northern Miss won reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Holly Marsh, Earlville, Ill., owns the May 2020 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153. A May 2022 bull calf sired by Deer Valley Growth Fund completes the winning pair.
