Winners Chosen at Missouri Junior Angus Preview Show
Missouri junior Angus members led 138 entries at the 2022 Missouri Junior Angus Preview Show at the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association All-Breeds Show, held on June 11 in Sedalia, Mo. Daniel Dobbs, Carnesville, Ga., evaluated the nine bulls, 82 owned females, 37 bred-and-owned females, three cow-calf pairs and seven steers before naming the champions.
Hillard/Gerloff Pitbull 102 claimed the grand champion bred-and-owned bull title after first winning junior champion. Olivia Gerloff, Bland, Mo., owns the March 2021 son of Silveiras Style 9303.
Mead Revival V3107 was named reserve grand champion bred-and-owned bull. Annaliese Mead, Barnett, Mo., owns the September 2021 son of Colburn Primo 5153 and first won senior calf champion.
Alexis Koelling, Bowling Green, Mo., led EXAR Forever Lady 5121 to grand champion owned female. The January 2021 daughter of Dameron First Class first claimed junior champion honors.
Hunters Blackbird 043 PBCC won the reserve grand champion owned female title after being selected as senior champion. Rance Wheeler, Paris, Mo., owns the September 2020 daughter of EXAR Blue Chip 1877B.
CB Princess Val 101 was named the grand champion bred-and-owned female after first winning junior champion. Cealy Bedwell, Holt, Mo., owns the February 2021 daughter of Stevenson Turning Point.
Annaliese Mead claimed reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female honors with Mead Forever Lady V3105. The September 2021 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153 first won the senior calf champion title.
Alexis Koelling showed the grand champion cow-calf pair. EXAR Forever Lady 98449 is a September 2019 daughter of Conley Express 7211. A December 2021 heifer calf sired by LK Intuition 010 completes the winning pair.
Annaliese Mead exhibited the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Mead Emma T002 is a December 2018 daughter of PVF Surveillance 4129. Her calf is a January 2022 daughter sired by Colburn Primo 5153.
Atley Patrick, Chilhowee, Mo., exhibited the grand champion steer. Valley Oaks Primo S164 is a March 2021 son of Colburn Primo 5153.
Addison Ward, Oak Grove, Mo., led WB Stalker 111 to the reserve grand champion steer title. He is a March 2021 son of Gateway Follow Me F163.
