Legendary Giveaways at the 2021 National Angus Convention & Trade Show

Giveaway items to be awarded to three convention attendees.

Saddle up and get ready for a weekend full of passion, innovation, and achievement in Cowtown. The 2021 National Angus Convention & Trade Show will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, November 6-8. Angus Convention annually provides Angus enthusiasts the opportunity for networking, educational experiences, and exciting entertainment. This year’s attendees can take home one of three legendary giveaways.

The leadoff giveaway item is a Bridgeview Bale King 5300 Bale Processor, provided by Bridgeview Manufacturing. Valued at $30,000, the 5300 baler is reliably built for two, six-foot round bales per load. For double efficiency, the winner can add the exclusive 3 Bale Kit, carrying an extra bale while maintaining the maneuverability their operation requires.

“Each year, it’s a treat to be surrounded by the passionate members of our Angus Family at the National Angus Convention & Trade Show,” said Mark McCully, American Angus Association chief executive officer. “Not only are there innovative and industry-leading educational sessions, but our generous partners offer exceptional giveaways to thank three lucky attendees.”

It’s said that nothing runs like a Deere and this winner could experience that first-hand thanks to our second giveaway item: a John Deere XUV835M Gator. Featuring a three-person cock pit, power steering, a 54 horsepower engine, 2,000 lb. towing capacity, 1,000 lb. cargo box capacity, and speeds up to 45 mph, this workhorse is valued at $16,569.

Rounding out the impressive giveaway lineup is a Priefert Complete Cattle Handling System, valued at $42,244. The corral features a solid sweep with a straight working alley, adjustable to one of four widths, leading to a Priefert Model S04 Squeeze Chute. The set-up is completed by a Tru-Test by Datamars complete weight and water management solution, electronic identification reader, and WaterWell 2 automatic waterer. The Priefert and Datamars systems are designed to help producers handle livestock safely and efficiently while increasing productivity working cattle. Included in the extensive package is a Priefert Sheeted Sweep Corral System for 35 head, 35’ adjustable alley, and Priefert’s Model S04 Squeeze Chute. Also included is a Tru-Test XR5000 Scale Indicator, HD5T Load Bars with mounting brackets, XRS2 EID Stick Reader, Premium ID Tag Package, WaterWell 2 Automatic Waterer, and Thermal Earth Tube. This package is sure to help the winner make legendary progress.

“We understand it’s vital for our breeders to work in the most effective and efficient manner possible, and these three giveaway items allow just that,” McCully said. “Each winner will be able to take these tools home and use them to improve their operation.”
