How have cows changed in the last 30 years? Have their nutritional requirements shifted? What does this mean for my nutritional program? Wesley Moore, technical specialist at Cargill Animal Nutrition, will explain key nutrient demands for cows in today’s world. Moore will cover nutrition through gestational phases, including cow requirements from fetal development to re-breeding, plus provide insight on shifts in macro and micro nutrient requirements.
Wesley Moore was born and raised on a cow-calf operation in Missouri. He completed his bachelors in Animal Science and masters in Ruminant Nutrition at University of Missouri. After graduation, he managed a regional feed business in southeastern Missouri. Wesley has served in his current role with the Cargill North American Beef Business since March 2018. Wesley works with the Cargill team, customers and producers to formulate the appropriate diets and needs of the beef cattle he works with.
