Angus Foundation Reception at Churchill Downs
Join us at Churchill Downs for an enjoyable evening celebrating our Angus legacy and supporting the Angus Foundation.
Connect with fellow breeders, donors, and industry leaders as we come together to recognize our impact and raise support for the Foundation's mission of investing in education, youth and research to advance the future of the Angus breed.
Everyone is invited to be part of this memorable event and help make a lasting impact.
This is a ticketed event that will sell out quickly. Tickets can be purchased during registration. Shuttle transportation will be available to and from the venue.
Industry Showcase
Outside educational sessions, Angus producers can connect with innovative industry partners during the second annual Industry Showcase. Companies offering a range of services from technology and genetics to marketing will be on hand to discuss solutions to your challenges.

Awards Social & Dinner
Saturday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m.
A highlight of not only Angus Convention, but of our year as an Association. The annual Awards Dinner celebrates the achievements of our members including Angus Heritage Award recipients, Roll of Victory winners, Sire of the Year and the crowing of Miss American Angus.
This is a ticketed event that sells out quickly. Tickets can be purchased during the registration process. -
Young Cattlemen's Lunch
Saturday, Nov. 14 at 12:00 p.m
Connect with fellow young cattlemen and women at Saturday's lunch. We encourage Beef Leaders Institute and Young Cattlemen's Conference alumni to attend as well as anyone between the ages of 25 and 45 who is looking to grow their network of fellow producers to sit together at the reserved tables in the ballroom.
There is no additional cost for this event. -
American Angus Auxiliary Breakfast
Monday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 a.m.
Celebrate the American Angus Auxiliary's 74 years of achievements during their annual breakfast. Hear from Miss American Angus and honor the passion of those who have impacted the organization over the years.
This is a ticketed event. Tickets can be purchased during the registration process.
ANGUS IN THE RING
This year, we combined convention events with the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Angus Shows giving you the opportunity to see Angus cattle from across the country on the iconic green chips.
Tickets to NAILE Shows can be purchased as part of the registration process. Shuttles will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis from the Omni Hotel to the Kentucky Expo Center.

MAA Speeches | Saturday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m.
MAA Crowning | Saturday, Nov. 14 during the Awards Dinner
The selection of a young lady to represent the Angus breed at events around the country is a time-honored tradition put on by the American Angus Auxiliary. A select group of young women will compete in several areas of competition throughout the weekend culminating in the crowning of a new queen during the Awards Dinner.
Candidate Forum
Saturday, Nov. 14 at 3:00 p.m
Members are invited to attend the forum during which each candidate will give a short speech introducing themselves and talking about their goals if elected to the board.
Candidate Reception
Sunday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m.
The candidate reception offers a dedicated time and venue for members to have casual conversations with the candidates.
State Caucuses
Sunday, Nov. 15 at 2:30 p.m.
States/districts will have the option to hold a caucus meeting prior to the Convention of Delegates. During the allotted time, board candidates will rotate through the caucus rooms to allow states/districts one-on-one time with each candidate.
