How is Association business conducted?

The more than 21,000 members of the American Angus Association are represented at the annual meeting by members elected as voting delegates. However, all members are invited to attend the meeting. If attending the business meeting only there is no fee, but we do ask that you register.

Delegates are nominated and elected by Eligible Voting Members in the months leading up to convention. During the Convention of Delegates, delegates take part in conducting Association business and vote on new board members and the election of board officers.

This year, 293 delegates and 244 alternate delegates were elected from 43 states and Canada to serve as voting representatives to the 142nd Convention of Delegates.
