Your cows may be close to these average weights. Or they may be significantly lighter or heavier.

It is also important that you consider the mix of ages represented in your cowherd. If your herd is predominantly younger cows, your average cow weight is probably lighter compared to another herd with similar genetics that is made of mostly older cows.
