When the heavy rain and snow of Winter Storm Atlas descended upon South Dakota in late 2013, farmers and ranchers in the area underestimated the storms fury. Regarded as the worst blizzard in modern history, the snowstorm wiped out thousands of head of cattle and left ranchers at an unfathomable loss.

The Ingalls family buried almost 200 head of cattle and their story of perseverance comes straight from the heart.
