  • "Angus Night on the Mountain," hosted by Spruce Mountain Ranch

    January 2015, Spruce Mountain Ranch LLC in Larkspur, Colo., was the gathering place for many Angus enthusiasts on Wednesday, Jan. 14, for Angus Night on the Mountain during the National Western Stock Show (NWSS). Ten packages and one raffle item generated more than $42,000 in gross proceeds for the Angus Foundation to benefit its mission to support Angus education, youth and research.

  • "Angus Night on the Mountain," hosted by Spruce Mountain Ranch

    January 2014, Angus Foundation supporters ventured to Larkspur, Colo., to attend the 2014 “Angus Night on the Mountain” held Jan. 15 at Spruce Mountain Ranch LLC. Several exclusive packages and a raffle item were offered throughout the evening and raised $74,220 in gross proceeds for the Angus Foundation and the 2014 National Junior Angus Show (NJAS).

  • "Angus Night on the Mountain II," hosted by Spruce Mountain Ranch

    January 2013, Seven exclusive packages, an elite heifer and necklace offering and one raffle item generated $31,780 in gross proceeds for the Angus Foundation’s education, youth and research efforts and the 2013 National Junior Angus Show (NJAS), which will be hosted in Kansas City, Mo., July 5-11. “Angus Night on the Mountain II,” a fundraising event to benefit the Angus Foundation and 2013 NJAS, was hosted and underwritten by Tom and Lois Ames at their beautiful Spruce Mountain Ranch, Larkspur, Colo., on Jan. 16. The event was hosted in conjunction with the National Western Stock Show in Denver.

The event was hosted in conjunction with the National Western Stock Show in Denver.

  • "BLACKONTRACK! Angus Magic at Churchill Downs"

    November 2010, BLACKONTRACK!, the Angus Foundation biennial gala and auction Nov. 13, raised more than $330,000 in gross income to support the Angus Foundation’s Vision of Value: Campaign for Angus goal of raising $11 million by Dec. 31, 2011. Hosted at the prestigious home of the Kentucky Derby, Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky., the magical night drew nearly 400 Angus supporters from across the country who gathered for fine dining, horseracing entertainment, and a live auction featuring elite Angus genetics and other unique items.

  • "That Old West Magic," hosted by Express Ranches

    August 2008, That Old West Magic Gala and Auction, hosted by Bob Funk of Express Ranches Aug. 30, raised more than $345,000 in gross income to support the Angus Foundation’s education, youth and research activities. Hosted at the prestigious National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Okla., the magical night drew more than 400 Angus supporters from across the country who gathered to partake in fine dining, Western art and culture, and a live and silent auction.

  • "Magic of the Vine," hosted by Vintage Angus Ranch

    October 2006, "The Magic of the Vine” bore a fruitful harvest, with more than 300 Angus supporters gathered to partake in fine dining, wine tasting, and a live and silent auction to raise funds for the Angus Foundation. Hosted Oct. 7 by Jim and Sue Coleman of Vintage Angus Ranch at their home in Modesto, Calif., the benefi t dinner and auction raised $197,000 in gross income to support education, youth and research activities benefi ting the Angus industry.

  • "That Old Black Magic," hosted by Summitcrest Farms

    October 2004, Summitcrest Farms provided just the right mix of haunting and hospitality to cast a spell of success for the 2004 Angus Foundation Gala & Auction. “That Old Black Magic” took place Oct. 31 at Fred and Betty Johnson’s farm near Summitville, Ohio.
